Delete Your Account

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Before you delete

  • • Your private audiobooks and uploaded documents are deleted permanently from our servers. We cannot recover them, and you cannot export the audio files first.
  • • Books you downloaded stay on your phone until you remove them. Before you delete, open Settings, tap Manage storage and tap Remove all downloads.
  • • Export my data in Settings gives you a record of your account as a JSON file: your profile, uploads, analysis results, generation requests, library, coin history, book reviews, devices, notifications and listening history. It does not include audio files, your uploaded documents, narrator reviews, character notes or feedback. For a copy of those, email privacy@invoke-books.com.
  • • Unspent coins are lost. If you have a subscription, cancel it first.

1. Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Invoke and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Tap Delete my account.

The deletion is permanent and happens right away. Then the app signs you out.

2. Ask us to delete your account

If you cannot use the app, send an email to privacy@invoke-books.com with the subject "Delete my account". Send it from the email address of your Invoke account, so that we can find the account. We delete the account within one month and tell you by email when it is done.

3. What we delete

  • • Your account, your sign-in, and your profile name and photo.
  • • Your uploaded documents, private audiobooks, analysis results and generation requests, including all their files.
  • • Your library, reviews, character notes, feedback and listening history.
  • • Your devices and notifications.

4. What we keep

  • • Your coin and payment history, no longer linked to your account. Tax law requires us to keep it until 7 years after each transaction.
  • • Public-domain audiobooks that you paid to add to the public catalog. They stay in the catalog and are no longer linked to you.
  • • Copies in our backups and logs, which are removed on their normal schedule: database backups after about 7 days, request logs after about 30 days, error reports and metrics after about 90 days, and security audit logs after up to about 400 days.

For more about how we handle your data, see the Privacy Policy.
